Created by a three-person team, including the notorious developer of Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy, Baby Steps will see players taking on the role of “an unemployed failson” as he finally ventures beyond the safety and comfort of his basement and explores the world by simply “putting one foot in front of the other.” The game is set to feature intentionally cumbersome controls, akin to those of Getting Over It and other video games like Octodad, which aim to provide a challenging yet hilarious gameplay experience for fans. While interested players were hoping to experience the title in 2024, they will have to await an updated release date from Devolver Digital in 2025.
