MAJOR SPOILERS for Arcane season 2 ahead.
The League of Legends universe is vast, and two seasons of Arcane are just the beginning of bringing the lore to the mainstream. Because it’s difficult to fit every detail into 40-minute episodes, League of Legends added a mini-game called Jinx Fixes Everything, which shows Jinx’s point of view during key moments, along with some minor details that weren’t included in Arcane.
Jinx Fixes Everything is divided into three acts, each featuring different locations and tasks that Jinx needs to accomplish, such as building a new mechanical arm for Sevika, fixing the jukebox in The Last Drop, and building a new weapon to prepare for the defense of Piltover. One could argue that these moments should’ve been included in Arcane, and while that is valid, the show can still stand on its own without the minor details. At the same time, League of Legends‘ mini-games are also great for adding more nuance to stories, especially with more shows on the way.

Although Riot Games and Fortiche Production have declared Arcane Season 2 the final season, this statement doesn’t have to be set in stone.
Future League of Legends Shows Could Benefit From Mini-Games Like Jinx Fixes Everything
League of Legends is surrounded by content that’s important to the lore, including Jinx Fixes Everything for Arcane. What’s great about the mini-game is it shows a glimpse of Jinx’s thoughts while doing her tasks and exploring familiar places in moments fans didn’t get to see on the show. In particular, Act 3 of the mini-game takes place in the Firelights’ hideout, where Jinx upgrades her gun and rocket launcher. Jinx also talks about missing her fallen adoptive sister Isha, who she says would have loved to see the beautiful hideout if she was still alive. These are details that Arcane might not otherwise have had time for.
- Act 1: Jinx fixes Sevika’s mechanical arm in the old arcade she and Vi used to hang out in
- Act 2: Jinx fixes The Last Drop’s jukebox while looking for a way to find Warwick/Vander
- Act 3: Jinx builds Rhino, her new and improved gatling gun and rocket launcher hybrid, in the Firelights’ hideout to prepare for the final battle in Piltover
After the final season of Arcane, showrunner and Riot Games creative director Christian Linke said during a conversation with League of Legends content creator Necrit that the team will be developing more shows based in other League of Legends regions like Noxus, Ionia, and Demacia. This would be a good opportunity for League of Legends to get new mini-games in the future that also provide supplementary details to the story that probably wouldn’t make it to the shows.
The final episode of
Arcane
heavily teased that the next series might focus on the region of Noxus because one of Swain’s crows shows up in Piltover. Mel Medarda might also take up the responsibilities of her late mother, Ambessa Medarda, once she returns to Noxus.
In the past, Riot Forge existed to bring certain champions’ stories to life through spin-off games. Since Riot Forge shut down, Riot Games seems like it’s planning to rely more on limited-time events within the LoL client, TV shows covering different regions, novels like Ambessa: Chosen of the Wolf, and the rest of League of Legends‘ video game spin-off IP, like Legends of Runeterra, to further expand the franchise’s lore.
Although it only contains minor details that may not heavily affect Arcane‘s plot, Jinx Fixes Everything definitely sets the standard in adding more nuance to League of Legends‘ upcoming shows. This could be especially important if Mel Medarda becomes a key character in the rumored Noxus series and a potential playable champion in League of Legends, as a mini-game could be the perfect way to shed light on Noxus’ inner workings and the cryptic Black Rose.
