  • Star Date: November 29, 2024
  • End Date: December 13, 2024
  • Featured Reward: Venusaur (P-A #18 full-art variant)
  • Event Type: Solo Battle

The Venusaur Drop Event is the second Promo-A event in Pokemon Pocket, following the Lapras ex Drop Event. Running for 14 days, the event lets players engage in Solo Battles against four Venusaur-themed decks across four difficulty levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Expert. The goal is to earn Promo-A Packs and unlock the Promo Pack Series A Vol. 2 cards featuring new variants of Venusaur, Greninja, Haunter, Onix, and Jigglypuff.

The new cards in the Promo-A Vol. 2 have the following drop rates:

  • Venusaur: 12.66%
  • Greninja: 15.82%
  • Haunter: 23.84%
  • Onix: 23.84%
  • Jigglypuff: 23.84%

The Venusaur Drop Event uses Stamina as its currency, which replenishes every 12 hours. Each win costs one Stamina point. You can use Event Stamina Hourglasses to refill it instantly. Without Hourglasses, it takes 60 hours for your Stamina gauge to fully recover.

  • Charizard ex (x2)
  • Charmander (x2)

The Best Rental Deck for the Venusaur Event

Blaine’s Rental Deck is a reliable choice for beating most decks in the event. It focuses on Rapidash, Magmar, and Ninetales, whose boosted damage is highly effective against Venusaur’s Grass-type decks.

Tips for Making the Most of the Venusaur Drop Event

  • Restart frequently. Stamina is only consumed if you win, so concede and start a new match if the odds aren’t in your favor.
  • Focus on higher difficulties. Unlock Advanced difficulty quickly, as it’s the most farm-friendly mode and the best place to spend your Stamina.
  • Complete Battle Tasks on your first attempt. Since you’ll primarily replay Expert mode, avoid using resources for other difficulties. Finish their side quests on the first try for maximum rewards.
