Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 Trailer Revealed Early

The Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 trailer has arrived. A few days ahead of the finale live event and the eventual downtime, players can get an early look at what next season will entail. This is almost standard procedure, as most new season trailers are leaked before Epic Games releases them. This time, it gives players an early glimpse at the major changes coming to the game.

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 Trailer Leaked

The Chapter 6 Season 1 trailer, which Fortnite itself did not share, dropped thanks to a few leakers. In it, players get a great look at the new island, new mechanics, and new characters. The Japanese theme which was present in both leaks and official teases is very apparent. The official name of the season is Hunters.

There appears to be a new boosted jump, as a couple of players run across rooftops in a new Chapter 6 POI before one jumps very quickly down and does a barrel roll, another brand-new mechanic. Mantling has seemingly been slightly updated with a bit of a wall run before it occurs. There’s also a new teleportation mechanic with one of the in-game items.

A Japanese mask appears to give powers to players, including the ability to shoot fireballs at enemies. There’s also a new wall-jumping movement akin to what you can do in Super Mario Bros. games. There are a couple of different POI bosses shown off in the trailer.

That includes Godzilla, who appears to be a very mobile boss that moves all around the map. Just like in the films, his nuclear laser powers up and he lets out a major roar before the Chapter 6 Season 1 trailer concludes. That’s all that’s shown off for now, but it gives players a great early look at what’s next in Fortnite.

Keep in mind that this is a leaked trailer. It can’t be confirmed until Epic Games releases it officially, though it’s hard to imagine there’s an entire realistic trailer with the right skins, items, and characters that isn’t a legitimate video. Still, it’s best to take it with a grain of salt.
