While this may seem like a daunting task at first, it comes with some pretty nice rewards. The more reefs players find, the happier Issa Rock will be and the more rewards they’ll receive.


1 Lushgreen Sea Reef Locations

The Start Of The Reef Hunt

Players begin their adventure in the Lushgreen Sea. While this is the perfect area for them to get their feet wet with the varied mechanics of the game, it’s also home to three hidden reef locations.


As soon as players identify the third reef in the Lushgreen Sea, they can report back to Issa Rock for a reward: the First-Contact Gloves. This gear increases the wearer’s POW and DEF by 15% when a battle first kicks off. Here’s where to find these three hidden reefs.

After the first lighthouse is relit, players move on to the Color-Full Sea. They’ll have plenty to do with more islands to connect, enemies to battle, and side quests to clear. But they’ll need to take the time to find the five hidden reefs in this sea.

A Sea Of Sandy And Icy Locations


The Brrrning Sea takes players to several new destinations, including some that are particularly frigid winter environments despite the name of the sea. One unique island found here is Heatfreeze Island, which is split down the middle between icy and hot lands. As players make their way through the currents here, they’ll come across another five reefs.

Assuming all reefs have been found up to this point, this will bring their total to 13, making them eligible for yet another reward from Issa Rock. The reward for finding 11 reefs is the Stash SPEED Gloves, which boosts the wearer’s SPEED in direct relation to the total number of Battle Plugs they have. 4 Gulchrock Sea Reef Locations

A Sea Of Exciting Twists

When players arrive at Gulchrock Sea, they’re in for a bunch of ups and downs in the action. Old enemies resurface, making the current storyline even more intriguing. Most of this sea is occupied by islets that are key to getting from Shipshape Island to Wayaway Island. But they can still expect to find some hidden reefs.

Once they find the five reefs here, players’ totals will rise to 18. The next Issa Rock reward is available at 15 identified reefs and is the Nimble Crown DX. This gear offers the wearer +3 DEF and increases the probability of getting the first strike in the battle. Players can find the reefs in the following locations.
