Microsoft has revealed the best-selling Xbox games from its ongoing Black Friday 2024 sale. As expected, the top-ranking titles essentially serve as an overview of some of the best Xbox deals that are being offered as part of the promotion.

Some early Xbox Black Friday 2024 deals have already launched in mid-November, and are planned to remain available until Cyber Monday. New game discounts have also been surfacing on Microsoft’s digital storefront for the entire second half of November.

As noted by Pure Xbox, the top three best-selling premium Xbox games in the U.S. right now are NBA 2K25, EA Sports Madden NFL 25, and EA Sports FC 25, in that order. All three are currently available for at least 50% off as part of the Xbox Black Friday 2024 Deals promotion, offering over $100 in combined savings.

The dominance of sports games continues further down the list, with six of the current top 10 best-selling Xbox titles belonging to this genre. The only non-sports title in the top five is Red Dead Redemption 2. Its high placement won’t come as a surprise to the most attentive of industry watchers, as Rockstar’s 2018 game has firmly cemented its status as an evergreen classic. Its continued popularity is underlined by the fact that Red Dead Redemption 2 continues to sell millions of units on an annual basis and has nearly quadrupled its year-one sales over the past half a decade. Its latest lifetime sales tally sits at 67 million copies as of November 2024.

Rockstar has another evergreen hit on the current top 10 sales chart: GTA 5, which presently holds sixth place. Sitting below it are Hogwarts Legacy, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, MLB The Show 24, and WWE 2K24, in that order. MLB The Show 24 boasts the most generous discount of this bunch, both in terms of savings and price cut percentage. Specifically, it’s currently retailing for $10.49, an 85% reduction from its regular price. The top 10 best-selling Xbox games right now offer $377.10 in combined savings.

This current crop of discounts is planned to be available until Cyber Monday, December 2. Many of the best deals that were offered as part of the recently concluded Xbox Halloween 2024 sale have returned for the ongoing Black Friday promotion.
