As Genshin Impact players begin to familiarize themselves with the Version 5.2 Saurians, the Qucusaurus and Iktomisaurus of the Flower-Feather Clan and Masters of the Night-Wind tribes, they’ll soon come across quests which also incorporate them.
One such quest is part of the One Case To Another World Quest series and Beat The Clock: 24 Hours is part two of it. The quest chain will take Genshin Impact players across some training challenges and a villainous plot with some Saurian riders that will require them to infiltrate some camps.

How To Unlock The Beat The Clock: 24 Hours Quest In Genshin Impact
Unfortunately, the Beat The Clock: 24 Hours quest is a subquest under a World Quest series and can only be unlocked once players have completed the Incidents Are Ever Sudden quest. This is the first part in the series and can be unlocked if players indwell a Qucusaurus and fly through the hoop in the training grounds. You’ll need to teleport to the waypoint southwest of the Statue of Seven and then head left toward the broken deck/bridge.
You can indwell the Qucusaurus there itself and then fly towards the hoop/ring you see right in front of you (there will be a Pyroculus inside it). The quest will automatically trigger, and you’ll talk to Temach, who will ask you to complete some training courses. Keep following through the quest navigation until you come to a point in the dialogue where Taruka asks you to spy on a camp. The next quest will automatically start then.
How To Infiltrate The Camp In The Beat The Clock: 24 Hours Quest – Genshin Impact
Once the quest starts, you can head to the point as shown in the navigation and then sit on the chair. You might need to change your time as per suggested and wait until the next day to sneak in. The main goal behind this mission is to successfully sneak into the inner sections of the camp without being found. You also have to indwell an Iktomisaurus for this, since going in your human form will immediately get you caught.
The best route is this:
- Once you enter the area, indwell the first Iktomisaurus you see looking at the stream of water in front of the camp. Then jump and fly above them or slowly sneak behind the second one who is looking away.
- There will be some baby Iktomisaurus to your left, so you need to quickly jump above them and head up the hill to the small crack between the rocks. Don’t stay there for too long because there is a guard to your left and the baby Iktomisaurus will recognise you.

Genshin Impact players can earn this hidden achievement by correctly identifying the Qucusaurus in Muepu’s challenge.
- Jump above and fly across the path below you towards the Iktomisaurus perched on the rock. Make sure to stay in the air as much as you can because there will be another baby Iktomisaurus hiding behind this rock.
- Quickly indwell the Iktomisaurus on the rock and then use the Iktomisaurus skill to unlock the cave entrance. Then, slowly drop down into the cave below you and quickly fly past the baby Iktomisaurus who are guarding it. If you take too long, they will catch you, and you’ll have to redo it. However, because you failed at the entrance of the cave, there will be another Iktomisaurus indwell point there. So, you can always use that to quickly get into the entrance on your second try and rush in.
Once you’re done, just follow through with the quest navigation until the end and report your findings to Taruka. If Genshin Impact players continue on with the quest chain (this is an automatic unlock after every prior quest is completed), they can earn a total of 120 Primogems and a Hidden Achievement.
