Pokemon Go’s current season, Max Out, is coming to a close soon, and they’re sending it off with a brand-new event, the Max Out Finale Event. This will be a jam-packed Pokemon Go event, bringing players several bonuses, research, rewards, and even a couple of Pokemon Go debuts.

This will be a five-day event, taking place from Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 10am local time to Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 8pm local time. Read on to learn more about Pokemon Go’s final event for their Max Out Season, including all the details and tips you need to end this season in style!


Pokemon Debuts: Galarian Corsola And Cursola

Pokemon Go will be debuting Galarian Corsola with this event, appearing in Pokemon Go for the first time ever. Additionally, once you have obtained a Galarian Corsola, you will have the option of evolving it into a Cursola, also making its Pokemon Go debut in this event.

It will require
50 Corsola Candy
to evolve Galarian Corsola into Cursola.

Corsola Candy can be obtained by catching, transferring, or hatching Corsola, Galarian Corsola, or Cursola.


You will have the chance of obtaining Galarian Corsola from hatching 7 km Eggs obtained throughout the Max Out Finale Event.

Even though this will be Galarian Corsola’s Pokemon Go debut,
you will have the chance of obtaining its Shiny variation.

Event Bonuses

A Pokemon Go Raid Pass with the Pokemon Go logo in the top-right corner.

There will be three different bonuses active throughout the entire Max Out Finale Event. These three bonuses include:

  • An additional 5,000 XP for each Raid successfully completed.
  • Eggs put in Incubators during this event will have half the hatch distance.
  • Use up to 10 Remote Raid Passes daily during this event.

Event Eggs

7 km Eggs obtained during the Max Out FInale Event will hatch specific event-themed Pokemon, all Galarian variants. Make sure to acquire and hatch these Eggs while they’re available, giving you the chance of hatching one of the following Pokemon:

  • Galarian Corsola
  • Galarian Ponyta
  • Galarian Meowth
  • Galarian Farfetch’d
  • Galarian Slowpoke
  • Galarian Zigzagoon
  • Galarian Darumaka
  • Galarian Yamask
  • Galarain Stunfisk

Event Ticket

You will be able to purchase an Event Ticket for the Max Out Finale Event, unlocking additional bonuses and benefits once purchased. This ticket will be available in the Pokemon Go in-game shop, costing $10.00 USD, providing you with each of the bonuses below.

  • An additional 5,000 XP from successful Raid completions.
  • Five extra free Raid Passes from Pokemon Gyms.
  • Three extra Candy when catching Pokemon from Five-Star Raids.
  • One extra Candy XL when catching Pokemon from Five-Star Raids.

Event Research

Field Research Tasks

There will be limited-time Event Field Research Tasks available during this event, acquired by spinning different PokeStop Photo Discs. Completing these tasks will reward you with Stardust and event-themed Pokemon encounters.


You will have the option of purchasing Timed Research for the Max Out Finale Event, costing $5.00 USD at the Pokemon Go in-game shop. Those who purchase this Timed Research will unlock different tasks to complete, rewarding you with the following when completed:

  • Event-themed Pokemon encounters
  • An event-themed avatar pose

You will only have
until the end of this event to complete these Timed Research tasks.

Make sure to complete all the tasks and claim all the rewards before this event has concluded.

Collection Challenges

There will be Event Collection Challenges available for all players during the Max Out Finale Event. You will need to catch and hatch specific event-themed Pokemon, rewarding you with:

  • Rare Candy
  • XP
  • Silver Pinap Berries

Event Pokemon Showcases

Three phone screens side by side, each with a Squirtle entered into a Pokemon Showcase.


There will be event-themed Pokemon Showcases hosted at different PokeStops throughout the Max Out Finale Event. These Pokemon Showcases will require you to submit specific event-themed Pokemon, reward those that are either the largest or smallest, depending on the competition.

Make sure to
hold onto different event-themed Pokemon that you catch
during this event, especially those that are very large or small.

This will help to make sure that you always have Pokemon to enter into these Showcases.
