Grab a 32-inch 165Hz Samsung gaming monitor for just $199.99, if you’re quick

If you’re quick you can snag yourself a serious Samsung gaming monitor bargain in this early Black Friday discount. With a saving of 39% against its MSRP, you’re getting a massive 32-inch panel that can run at up to 165Hz for just $199.99.

With Samsung regularly finding its OLED displays on our best gaming monitor guide – check out our Samsung Odyssey G95SC review as an example – its prowess in panels is proven. However, while that display costs north of $1,000, today’s deal is far more affordable.

The Samsung Odyssey G55C is the display of the day with this 32-inch, curved LCD panel packing in 2,560 x 1,440 pixels for a 1440p or QHD resolution. Combined with a 165Hz refresh rate and claimed 1ms motion picture response time (MPRT), you get a great combo for general PC gaming.

The curve of this panel is a modest 1,000-inch radius (1000R) so it’s not a surround view, but it should help you get a perfect viewing angle across the full expanse of the VA LCD panel. With a 2,500:1 contrast ratio, this panel also produces deeper black levels than IPS and TN LCD panels, making for a more convincing image in dark scenes.

For connections, you get one DisplayPort 1.2 input and two HDMI 2.0 ports, so there’s a decent amount of sockets for connecting up devices other than your gaming PC.

Originally priced at $329, the panel has regularly been discounted to around $230, and has even hit this same $199.99 price once before, but this is a legitimately great deal so don’t worry about waiting for Black Friday itself to roll around and follow this link to the deal. This offer isn’t available to our UK readers, but you can grab a great deal on this 27-inch, 1440p Samsung Odyssey display via this link instead – it’s at its lowest price ever of just $178.98.
