A new Genshin Impact chart reveals the sales difference between the two currently featured five-star characters: Chasca and Lyney. Chasca was introduced as a new five-star character in the current Genshin Impact update 5.2, which arrived on November 20.

Double banners are a popular gacha mechanic in Genshin Impact that allows players to acquire two different five-star characters during the same banner phase. This means every new update features at least four five-star characters: two for each banner phase. These double banners share the same pity count as well as the four-star lineup, which consists of three characters.

Genshin Impact usually combines its new releases with re-run banners. The game’s Limited Character Banner is the main source of revenue for HoYoverse’s most popular title. An interesting chart has revealed the drastic sales difference between the two currently available five-star characters: Lyney and Chasca. According to a popular stats website known as Paimon.moe, Chasca is responsible for over 88% of the total sales, marking one of the largest revenue differences recorded so far. This does not come as a huge surprise, considering Chasca is an S-tier DPS character in Genshin Impact with one of the most enjoyable playstyles in the game.

Genshin Impact: Should You Pull for Chasca or Lyney?

Chasca is also a very flexible unit thanks to her Anemo Vision. Genshin Impact‘s Anemo is considered a neutral element since it does not interfere with other elemental reactions. Chasca’s Elemental Skill allows her to fly through the air while riding a gun. Using her Elemental Skill also enables Chasca to enter her Nightsoul state. During this state, Chasca can fire her gun, dealing massive AoE elemental damage. The bullets’ elemental type is determined by the elements present in Chasca’s team composition.

Lyney is another DPS unit in Genshin Impact, released back in the first Fontaine update. Lyney is considered a niche DPS since his go-to team relies on a mono-Pyro party type. Lyney’s popularity might increase in upcoming updates, as players expect Natlan’s supports to focus on the region’s symbolic element, Pyro. With the release of Genshin Impact update 5.3, many Pyro-related elemental reactions have also been buffed.

Players who want to get either of these characters have around two more weeks to do so, as their banner is scheduled to expire around December 10. HoYoverse has previously confirmed that the second phase of update 5.2 will feature two S-tier characters: Neuvillette and Zhongli. Neuvillette is arguably the best Hydro DPS in Genshin Impact, while Zhongli has the most powerful shield in the game.
