So many Black Friday sales are live that even though there are still a few days to go until the sales event officially arrives, we might as well consider it underway. Sega has shared some of the more notable discounts it has exacted across various retailers with some of its biggest games of 2024 included in its cut-price picks, Metaphor: ReFantazio and Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth among them.
Metaphor: ReFantazio is only a month old so to see it discounted for Black Friday feels like a very big deal. Sega isn’t messing around either. The brand new Game Of The Year nominee is usually $70 but has had its price slashed by 25 percent, bringing the cost down to $52.49. The discount applies to the PlayStation and Xbox versions of Metaphor on the platform’s respective online stores, and you can find discounted copies of its physical version at participating retailers.

Despite launching in October, Metaphor: ReFantazio isn’t the newest game included in Sega’s Black Friday sale. That honor goes to Sonic x Shadow Generations, and after the new trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 dropped this week, this is the perfect time to pick it up. The only downside is Shadow doesn’t use a gun in the game like he appears to in the upcoming movie. Well, at least I don’t think he does. I’ve not finished the Shadow half of the game yet. No spoilers, please.

Sonic x Shadow Generations has received the same 25 percent discount as Metaphor: ReFantazio. However, since its regular price is $50, it’s quite a bit cheaper than Metaphor at $37.49. The discount is available on the PlayStation Store and if you’d prefer a physical copy, there is a link in the box below that has it for an even bigger 40 percent discount.
The Black Friday discounts on Sega’s terrific 2024 offerings don’t end there. Even though Metaphor and Sonic x Shadow have stolen the studio’s more recent headlines, Sega kicked off the year with Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth and Persona 3 Reload. The Deluxe Edition of Persona 3 Reload is 40 percent off, and the same edition of Infinite Wealth is half price. Enough game between those two titles alone to fill all of your 2025 if you let them. Or you can try to squeeze Infinite Wealth in before Like A Dragon: Pirait Yakuza In Hawaii.
Sega’s deluxe editions aren’t the only ones on sale for Black Friday.
