Pokemon TCG Pocket is the Pokemon card game for collectors, but it’s still not giving me what I need.
Now, it looks like six of the game’s next promo cards have been datamined ahead of December.
Last week, Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket’s events for December were datamined. These included a Wonder Pick event featuring Bulbasaur and Magnemite, plus a Venusaur ex battle event, which will feature promo packs just like the Lapras ex battle event did.
As posted on Reddit by user Gastaldaddy, six of the promo cards from these two events have now been datamined. The Bulbasaur card from the Wonder Pick event appears to have new art, while the Magnemite is a reimagining of the Magnemite from the Wizard’s of the Coast Team Rocket set from 2000.
It appears that the promos from the Venusaur ex event will feature fresh art on existing TCG Pocket cards for Jigglypuff, Onix, which is reimagined from Lost Thunder, Greninja, which comes from an XY promo, and Haunter. The Venusaur ex promo has yet to leak, but it will almost certainly be the fifth of the upcoming promo packs.
These six cards follow the Mewtwo card, which was leaked as part of TCG Pocket’s Premium Pass for December. If the game’s developers are creating promos for all three of Genetic Apex’s featured Pokemon, it seems like a Charizard promo will appear in January.
