And one of the most hilarious but most obscure pieces of lore in all of One Piece is related to their fridge, of all things.

The Straw Hat’s fridge is not only completely locked, but it even has a special code that was set by Sanji to stop Luffy from stealing and eating food. This code is 7326, a number that can be used to spell Nami and Robin’s names in Japanese. This is precisely why the crew’s female members are the only other people who know it, aside from Sanji himself.

4 Queen Has A Kid, And It May Be Franky

This is a recent revelation that blew the minds of most fans. According to his individual Vivre Card, Queen (whose real name is Scien) had a kid with an unknown woman thirty-six years in the past, who he abandoned ten years later when he joined Kaido’s crew. While the identity or name of this unnamed child was never disclosed, fans were quick to notice that it may actually be Franky.

It’s all in the numbers: Franky is thirty-six years old, and his parents were pirates who abandoned him when he was ten years old. On top of that, Franky is a cyborg who is interested in technology, engineering, and science, just like Queen. While Oda never officially confirmed their relationship, all these details match up way too perfectly for this to be a coincidence. Nevertheless, the mere existence of Queen’s unnamed child is already an obscure fact in and of itself.

Laskey and Kalifa are not the only prominent members of this murderous family, because the manga recently introduced Alpha, a CP8 agent who was tasked with keeping Bonney hostage during Kuma’s flashback. In an SBS column, Oda revealed that, as many fans suspected, Alpha is Laskey’s daughter and Kalifa’s younger sister. It’s weird that the specific last name of this family still wasn’t officially stated.

But the most obscure and hilarious One Piece character is none other than Batchee the Fly.

Remember when Fullbody tried to pull off the classic trick of putting a fly in your soup to humiliate Sanji in the Baratie? Well, that fly has a name, and it’s Batchee. Furthermore, its birthday is on July 1st and, funnily enough, it was ranked 112 out of 1,052 in the series’ seventh popularity poll. However, anime viewers may not recognize Batchee, as the animated adaptation changed its species to a generic brown bug.
