How To Complete the Max. 90 Rated Base Icon Upgrade SBC
To complete this SBC, the player needs to complete four individual squads, each with slightly different requirements. For avid players who are familiar with earlier Hero Upgrade and Icon Upgrade SBCs, the requirements are similar but increased due to the higher rating cards available.

While the approximate cost for each squad is a lot, they can be made cheaper by either using cards that players already have in their clubs, or by opening packs to try and get high-rated cards. Outside those options, the only way to complete these squads is to buy the cards through the Transfer Market.
If you were to add all these squads together and make these squads from an empty club, the total cost would be around 385,000 coins for console players while PC players would have to pay around 401,000 coins.

With the increased maximum rating for this Base Icon Upgrade SBC, there are some new cards added to this pool of potential Icons that are worth millions of coins. These are some of the best possible cards you can get from this SBC and also are some of the best icon cards in the game regardless of rating.

The Power Shot+ PlayStyle he sports is also very meta, while he can play CM, CDM and even CB to fit into nearly every team. |

A new Icon to FC 25, Bale is one of the fastest Icon cards in the game and sports a cannon of a left foot. While he doesn’t have the same benefits as Jairzinho, Bale is similar in his Rapid+ PlayStyle and great offensive stats. As long as you work around his three-star weak foot, Bale is an amazing winger and striker. |

Roberto Carlos (90) |
One of the best wingbacks every year, Roberto Carlos is everything players want in a wingback: fast, strong, good at passing and crossing, and high in stamina. He also sports a Dead Ball+ PlayStyle, making free kicks even easier than ever. |
These are the top five Icons you can get, but there are plenty of other good options, including Patrick Viera, Samuel Eto’o, Didier Drogba, Rio Ferdinand, Franck Ribery, and George Best just to name a few. However, there is also a good chance that you might get Icon cards around the 86 or 87 rating, which includes fewer potential wins for the price of the SBC.
In fact, for the price of the SBC from scratch, there are only
12 icons out of 86 that are worth more than the price of the SBC
. That means, if you do the SBC from nothing, there is a
14 percent chance you get an amazing pull
. Now, depending on how many cards you didn’t purchase and instead used from your club, the chance of getting a card that is worth more value than you put in increases.
So, when you complete this SBC and see the walkout animation, some of the best nations to see include Cameroon, France, Ivory Coast, and Northern Ireland. However, if you see England, Mexico, Croatia, or Argentina, you’ll likely be getting a cheaper Icon than expected.
