Weezing and Greninja are incredibly versatile cards that form an excellent pairing, as their abilities can be combined to decimate your opponent’s HP. Mewtwo ex decks will struggle to establish a foothold as these Pokemon allow you to force switches while whittling down your opponent’s Pokemon, whether they’re in the Active or Bench slots.

How Do You Play A Greninja And Weezing Deck?

The Weezing Full Art from Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket.

This deck is all about controlling the flow of the game and chipping away at your foes with Poison damage from Weezing and Water Shuriken from Greninja.

You should select both Dark and Water energy for this deck, as both Pokemon will need access to their attack moves to be most effective.

Weezing is your tank and should remain in your Active slot for the majority of the match, absorbing damage and inflicting Poison using its Gas Leak ability.

Greninja should remain on your Bench until you have the opportunity to knock out an opponent using its 60-damage Mist Slash.

Generally, Weezing will chip away at the opponent with its Tackle and Gas Leak.

When Weezing is in danger of being KO’ed, use Koga to put the Pokemon back into your hand, then play it again the next turn, with full health.

Using Koga bypasses Weezing’s high retreat cost and allows you to completely refill its HP in one move.

If you’re afraid of being overwhelmed by a strong ex Pokemon, you can also swap a Potion out for a Sabrina, which gives you an extra out if you’re staring down a healthy opponent.

Weezing can be an effective stalling Pokemon if needed, but Greninja can inflict 80 damage per turn (20 from Water Shuriken, 60 from Mist Slash).

Keep your opponent poisoned and do everything in your power to keep Weezing healthy while Greninja sets up and uses Water Shuriken from the safety of your Bench.

Once your foes are softened up, Greninja can help sweep up and win the battle.
