Over on Reddit, user Notorious_Frog_2 has conjured up a fresh theory for Grand Theft Auto 6‘s second trailer. In a now-deleted post (which was shared on Twitter by TGG), the user speculates that the game’s second trailer will be released on December 3rd. The reason for this is due to the upcoming release of a new Grand Theft Auto Online update, which doesn’t have an official release date as of yet, but it is heavily speculated to be released on December 10. The user says that the trailer date “is simpler” than most people think, pointing to the release date of Grand Theft Auto 6‘s first trailer, which was one week before Grand Theft Auto Online‘s December 2023 update.


As always, this is simply a theory and Rockstar itself has given no indication as to when a second trailer could be released. However, there’s no denying that releasing a new trailer a week before a new Grand Theft Auto Online update would be a smart business move as there’s a strong chance it would drive players to GTA 5‘s online component as the community patiently waits for Grand Theft Auto 6‘s release.
