Fortnite x Avatar Collab Rumored To Come Soon

The long-awaited Fortnite Avatar crossover might arrive soon. Avatar, the movie franchise about Pandora and blue people and not the Last Airbender (which already got its moment in Fortnite), has been one of the best-selling franchises in popular media. It has long been rumored to arrive at some point in Fortnite. Despite a new film released last year, it never arrived. Now, leaks suggest it’s closer to a release than we might have expected.

Fortnite Avatar Collab Landing Soon Per Leaks

Initially, it looked like the Fortnite Avatar crossover might go the way of several other high-profile but forgotten collaborations. There have been so many, including a Five Nights at Freddy’s collab, that have been leaked and excited the community. Some of them never arrived. For a while, it looked like the Avatar crossover was going that way since the sequel came out and the skins never arrived.

However, a recent leak from ShiinaBR indicates that the crossover has once again been confirmed in the game files and therefore should be arriving sooner rather than later. The leaker did not provide an official release date. However, since it has resurfaced in the game files, it is expected to land in the game fairly soon. With Chapter 6 on the horizon, it’s likely that the next phase for the game involves some big collaborations.

That may mean Avatar, which presumably includes skins and other cosmetics. However, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see a POI or landmark dedicated to the fictional world of Pandora. There could even be characters from the movie brought in as NPCs on the island. The possibilities are endless. The skins would likely use the Xenomorph model since they’re tall humanoid creatures with tails, which fits in with the Alien monster’s design as well.

Although the leaker said the crossover has been reconfirmed, it should be noted that this is another leak. Therefore, it’s not a guarantee that the movie’s characters and more will make it into Fortnite at all, let alone soon.
