Black Salt Games has announced that its famous horror fishing RPG, Dredge will be launching on Android and iOS on February 27th, 2025, which was previously scheduled for December 18th, 2024. Regarded as one of the best indie games of 2023, Dredge is available for pre-order for iOS and Mac.

Dredge is a single-player Lovecraftian horror fishing RPG that has gained recognition as one of the best games of 2023. The game allows you to experience a relaxed yet dangerous nautical adventure filled with creepy sea creatures. You will encounter over 125 deep sea creatures.
You can explore a collection of remote islands and their surrounding depths, uncovering whatever lies beneath them. Your journey will start from a remote archipelago called The Mallows and complete quests and collect intriguing collectibles. The game has been optimized for touch on mobile, but you can use a controller.
The official announcement was made by Black Salt Games via their official account. As mentioned earlier, Dredge is scheduled to launch on Android, iOS, and Mac on February 27th, 2025, with a Closed Beta starting December 18, 2024, and you can pre-order it for iOS and Mac through the App Store. Android users will have to wait to pre-register as the studio is having issues with the Google Play Store.
Joel Mason, a programmer and writer for Dredge, mentioned through a tweet that users won’t be able to pre-register for the game on Google Play Store “because Google doesn’t believe we own the rights to our own game“. We’ll have to wait for the same to be resolved before playing it on Android.
