MLBB M6 Wildcard Stage: ULFHEDNAR advance to the Swiss Round

ULFHEDNAR, one of the favorites coming into the MLBB M6 World Championship Wildcard Stage, didn’t let their fans down. After an intense four days of competition, the team has qualified for the Swiss Stage of the competition.

Their last match, the decider stage, was against the CIS region’s Insilio, but the latter didn’t stand a chance against the Turkish powerhouse. Here’s how ULFHEDNAR made it to the M6 World Championship Swiss Stage.

ULFHEDNAR go undefeated in the MLBB M6 World Championship Wildcard Stage

ULFHEDNAR might be a new name, but they consist of former players of Fire Flux Esports, a team that made it to the Knockout Stage of the MLBB MSC in Saudi Arabia earlier this year.

Therefore, the team came into the Wildcard Stage with one motive – to make it to the next stage. ULFHEDNAR did exactly that. They went unbeaten throughout the group stage, dropping only one game.

There was a bit of controversy surrounding their group win, though. In their last Wildcard group stage match, one of the players on ULFHEDNAR’s opponent team, DFYG, faced a technical issue. This happened because the player received a notification on his device, causing him to lose control over his hero for a moment.

However, this occurred during a teamfight, making it disastrous for DFYG, who were on the brink of victory. The team filed a complaint with MOONTON, who acknowledged the issue in its statement but said it didn’t meet the criteria for a rematch. The developer also stated that it is working on a rewind feature to prevent such issues in the future.

With this, all attention has shifted to the impending Swiss Stage of the MLBB M6 World Championship. This new format is being introduced to the tournament for the first time, ensuring a higher-stakes competition.

The Swiss Stage will take place from Nov. 28 to Dec. 5, with the top 8 teams advancing to the Knockout Stage.
