Everything you need to know about Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 is right here!
As with previous Call of Duty games, Black Ops 6 includes the option to play with friends using the split-screen feature. This allows you to team up and enjoy different game modes together, bringing back the nostalgic feel of local multiplayer sessions. If you’re unsure how to set it up, this guide will cover everything you need to know about using split-screen in Black Ops 6.
Split screen in Black Ops 6 is available
only on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S
, meaning it is not supported on PC.
How To Play Splitscreen
Before starting Split Screen, there are two things you need to make sure of:
- First, both players must have their own separate Activision account to log into Call of Duty. If not, then you can easily set up a new Activision account here.
- Second, make sure you have an active internet connection.
It’s also important to note that the
splitscreen feature is only available for Multiplayer and Zombies modes
, not the Campaign or Warzone.
Once everything is set up, launch the game on your platform and select either Multiplayer or Zombies to enter the lobby.
In the lobby menu, connect the second controller and press X or A, depending on your platform, which will allow the second player to join.
Players with a mouse and keyboard plugged into their console can also participate in splitscreen mode.
If done correctly, you’ll see two operators in the lobby, confirming that both players are ready to play.
Now, simply start a match of either Multiplayer or Zombies and enjoy.
Keep in mind the splitscreen
does not work offline
, and you will
not be able to access the Training Course
.
