With every above setup, go into Mementos and find a floor where you can easily knock down most of the Shadows either with your party or the weak spells from Joker. After a few attempts, the shadow will get mad and stand up, but you can just knock them down and repeat the process as many times as possible before the shadow finally dies.

Once the Shadow stands up and gets knocked down again, beginning a new interrogation, a new amount of Yen will be given. The amount of Yen is randomly decided and even if it’s a small amount keep asking for more because there is no penalty for trying as many times as possible.

With the cognition boost from Jose, the total will be scaled to that additional percentage once the battle is finished. This process can be a bit tedious, but it guarantees a large return, earning millions of yen if you devote 15 or 20 minutes to the process.
