One of the cutscenes affected by the new update was Aerith’s death at the hands of Sephiroth in the Forgotten Capital. Before versions 1.03 and 1.04 were released, Square Enix temporarily disabled the ability for consoles to take screenshots or record videos of Aerith’s death while the scene played out. No other changes were reported in the Final Fantasy 7 version 1.04 patch notes.
