While discussing his enthusiasm for Helldivers 2, award-winning actor Neil Newbon expressed that he would love to cameo as a voice in the hit game. In a recent interview clip posted on Twitter by GamesRadar+, the actor gushed about his love of Helldivers 2 and said he would love to cameo in the hit game. Newbon expressed that he would be willing to simply scream for an hour in a voice booth if the developers would use it. He even joked about the idea of using his Astarion voice to dramatic effect while yelling. While Newbon acknowledged that he couldn’t truly bring the voice of Astarion to the game, he has previously noted how important the Baldur’s Gate 3 character is to him and his career.


Newbon Isn’t Writing off Helldivers 2 or Baldur’s Gate


In addition to wishing for a role in Helldivers 2, Newbon has said he would be willing to reprise his role from Baldur’s Gate 3. While this is something many fans would love to see, Larian Studios has declared that it is done with Baldur’s Gate 3 and any potential sequels to instead move forward with its own projects. Time will tell if the characters of Baldur’s Gate 3 return without the influence and writing of Larian.

Many fans find it endearing when an actor or celebrity turns out to be a big fan of something themselves. While there’s certainly no guarantee, it’s possible players could one day hear the voice of Newbon yelling in the name of democracy. Arrowhead has gained attention for listening to its community in the past, even when it comes to adding more customization to Helldivers 2.
