Lego Horizon Adventures: 7 Beginner Tips
Before you head off into the Legoised Sacred Lands, Wilds, and beyond, here are some things you should know!
They allow you to keep playing Lego Horizon Adventures after you have completed everything else, whether that be on your own for a bit of fun or alongside a friend to show them what the game is all about. The game is pretty straightforward fun, so playing in co-op makes it that little bit more entertaining.
How To Unlock Expeditions
You unlock Expeditions once you’ve completed all of the story missions and all of the Apex Predator Hunts in a single location. Apex Predator Hunts start to unlock once you’ve completed a location’s story missions, with more unlocking once the story is over.
Everything is tracked by area, so you don’t need to complete all Apex Predator Hunts in all locations before starting the Expeditions.
There are four Expeditions to complete, which are below, and they can be completed an infinite number of times to grind for XP and to complete Community Job requirements.
- Sacred Lands
- Sunfall Desert
- Snowchant Mountains
- The Jewel Rainforest
Expeditions, Explained
Expeditions essentially let you dive back into each location after the story has ended so that you can mop up any secrets you missed or grind for additional XP.
They start in the same way as any other mission, giving you the chance to select your character. However, the objective is really simple. All you’re instructed to do is ‘explore X location‘.
Then, you make your way through various areas as you did in the story, taking on enemies, collecting blocks, and looking for secret chests. Once you get to the end, you grab a blue brick and go back to the hub area. You’re able to complete these Expeditions as many times as you like, allowing you to rack up XP and work towards completing Community Jobs.
Blue bricks aren’t an actual currency in Lego Horizon Adventures. They are simply there to show you’ve already claimed that area’s gold block during the story.
