Towers of Aghasba is a survival building game that mixes in some homestead management and high fantasy. It also has quite a particular system that allows players to interact with the world in several ways to get the resources they need. This, of course, includes getting Fur from animals, which is needed for many crafting recipes.
Players can use Amity to keep a healthy relationship with the Ecosystem of their new home, and prevent the Shimu tribe from starving. Fur farming can factor into this. Fortunately, there are many different ways to obtain this valuable resource, including those that are more “environmentally friendly.”

Players will notice that every action has a reaction. Getting Fur from animals will mean a loss or gain of Amity, depending on what method players use. Towers of Aghasba: How To Get Thatch
Thatch is a foraged material needed to build village towers and landmarks in Towers of Aghasba. Here’s how you can gather it.
There are three methods to get Fur in the game. The first one involves healing hurt animals under the King Trees, which will require specific resources. The second is to Feed certain creatures food. The last, and least recommended, is by Hunting wild animals.
Farming Fur From Healing Animals
Healing involves finding a hurt Creature and healing it, which will often require a series of items like 3 Fiber or 3 Roots. Once healed, the creature will become active in the environment again, and players will receive certain items. This method gives players the highest chance of receiving Fur. Harelopes are the best creatures to look for, as they are more likely to drop this resource. Here are the steps for this method:
- Approach the hurt animal and check its health status.
- Gather the required items and return with them.
- Interact again and select “Turn items” to nurse the creature back to health.
- Don’t forget to pick up the Fur and other items dropped as rewards.
Farming Fur From Feeding Creatures
Once again, Harelopes are the best animals for this method. Look for the ones that are under the King Tree, which are most likely attracted once you Upgrade it to Ranks 2 and 3. Harelopes prefer three types of food: Berries, Roots, and Lettuce. Lettuce is their favorite, and it makes them drop more Uncommon and Rare Items, such as Fur and Hooves. Here’s how to use this method:
- Approach the area where animals are grassing, use the Shimuscope to analyze their food preferences.
- Open the inventory and select the food that was marked with a “!” Icon to get better resuts.
- Equip the food and throw it near the animals.
- Wait for them to eat, and pick up the items they drop.
This method will also reward players with Amity, which is quite useful to develop the village and upgrade the King Tree.
Farming Fur From Hunting
If players want to get more Fur and Faster, and are willing to lose Amity and risking the environment collapsing, then the other method is to hunt animals. Using bow and arrow, or a spear, players might be able to get Fur faster. However, each time they kill an animal, they will lose Amity fast. Just remember to plant lots of seeds, heal animals, and feed them often to recover Amity.
