Zenless Zone Zero officially unveiled its newest W-Engine Friday evening, giving fans the first look at the “Blazing Laurel” W-Engine. Blazing Laurel will release as a new S-Rank Stun W-Engine in Zenless Zone Zero, featuring an impressive 713 Base ATK when leveled up to Level 60 with 18% Impact as its main sub-stat. The W-Engine’s unique ability, “Flowing Flame,” increases Impact by 25% when using a Quick or Perfect Assist, also applying Wilt stacks when hitting enemies with Basic Attacks. Wilt stacks increase the Crit Damage of Ice and Fire attacks against afflicted enemies.

When any squad member hits an enemy, for every stack of Wilt applied to the target, the Crit DMG of the Ice DMG and Fire DMG dealt by that attack increases by 1.5%. Only one of this effect can be active at a time in the same squad.

Zenless Zone Zero‘s newest W-Engine is expected to be the “best-in-slot” choice for the game’s next character launching in Version 1.3. The second half of the RPG’s current update will debut Lighter as the newest member of the Sons of Calydon faction, coming to the game as a Fire Stun character.
