Honkai: Star Rail hosted a livestream for Version 2.7 introducing what’s in store in the update. The stream also played a trailer for the coming new Version of 3.0 where we finally leave Penacony and venture onto the next destination, Amphoreus. In the trailer it reveals the next line-up of possible playable characters and provides us a snippet of what’s to come story-wise. HSR version 2.7 update trailer reveals the new location Amphoreus
From the trailer we can catch a glimpse on the theme of the next planet is as well as the region it is inspired from. From the trailer we can see the region Amphoreus is Greek inspired as with the designs of some of the characters such as Aglaea. Black Swan has mentioned briefly on what type of Planet Amphoreus is. Amphoreus, as described by Black Swan, is an uncharted and mysterious world, even beyond the reach of Akivili.
Its existence is barely known across the universe, making it a rare and elusive destination. For the Astral Express, reaching Amphoreus could be groundbreaking, potentially resolving their energy crisis and elevating the crew to unprecedented achievements.
The trailer also revealed the next line-up of characters that will be released after the Version 3.0 patches. We see a glimpse of their design and what their personality would seem like. Another thing to note is this time, the characters and story content in Amphoreus is heavily tied to Honkai Impact 3rd. The characters shown is similar to the Flame-Chasers in Impact 3rd.
Introducing the new Amphoreus characters coming Honkai: Star Rail version 3.0
In order from left to right:
- Aglaea
- Tribbie
- Anaxa
- Hyacine
Algaea has been drip marketed to be coming out in Version 3.0 along with The Herta. Most of it is speculation but Anaxa is said to be Su from Honkai Impact 3rd.
- Mydei
- Cipher
- Castorice
- Phainon
Most prominent characters you should keep check are the last two characters, Castorice and Phainon. Castorice resembles Elysia, and Phainon heavily resembles Kevin from Honkai Impact 3rd.
Lastly we have the shadowed and blacked out 4 characters that has not been revealed yet as for now. Look out for more information and future content to see what’s in store for the new planet!
