PS Plus Monthly Games for December 2024 Wish List

Every month, PS Plus subscribers get a handful of games to add to their libraries, with the PS Plus Essential tier usually offering PS5 and PS4 games, and the PS Plus Extra and Premium tier’s selection ranging from PS5 titles down to the PS1. Now, with November 2024’s PS Plus selection coming to an end, that means December is just around the corner with a brand-new lineup of games.

Several games would make worthwhile additions to PS Plus in December 2024, especially when it comes to current trends. While subscribers will need to wait until November 27 to see the official PS Plus lineup for December 2024, it’s still worth thinking about which games might be arriving.

Despite being different from most games in the Resident Evil series, Resident Evil Village is a strong entry, combining elements of atmospheric horror, action, and exploration in a beautifully designed Gothic European village setting. Its diverse gameplay, engaging storyline, and memorable characters — like the iconic Lady Dimitrescu — make it a standout title that appeals to both longtime fans of the franchise and newcomers. Moreover, the game is captivating to look at and hear on the PS5, though it still provides a decent experience on the PS4 as well. As one of Capcom’s best Resident Evil titles, adding Village to the lineup in December 2024 would undoubtedly add to the value of next month’s selection.

Adding Forspoken to PS Plus in December 2024 could effectively attract players who were hesitant to purchase it initially due to its critical reception, giving them a chance to appreciate its unique strengths.

Something for Every Generation

There are several games that would make great additions to PS Plus in December 2024, especially considering current trends and upcoming releases. These include:

• PS5:Metro Exodus is a lot like Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, which was released recently, thereby giving Metro Exodus a reason to show itself on PS Plus Extra and Premium in December 2024.
• PS4: Another great December 2024 PS Plus Extra and Premium game would be God of War (2018), especially given the rumors about a God of War remastered collection in the works and an impending God of War announcement.
• PS3: BioShock Infinite has been deserving of a spot on PS Plus for some time now, and assuming BioShock 4 is somewhere on the horizon, adding Infinite to December 2024’s lineup would make sense.
• PSP: Given the recent critical success of Atlus’ Metaphor: ReFantazio, Persona 3 Portable, originally for the PSP, would make a great addition to PS Plus in December 2024.
• PS2: Devil May Cry is another classic that PS Plus would be remiss not to add soon, and despite any requests for a remake, it arguably doesn’t need one.
• PS1: Finally, PS Plus PS1 game for December 2024 should be Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, as it is critically one of the best games on the PlayStation.
