There are several types of katanas in this game, and each of them is quite tricky to craft. Once you’ve figured out how to craft and use a katana, only a few enemies in the game will remain that can challenge you head-on.
How To Craft A Katana In Sengoku Dynasty
There are three different types of katanas in this game; each katana requires you to complete a specific task in-game to unlock its recipe before you can craft it. Note that you can also acquire katanas by defeating enemies, but the weapons you pick up from your enemies are much less durable than the ones you crafted yourself.

You will need to build a smithy to craft a katana, which becomes available for construction after acquiring iron ore. Note that the bronze katana can also be crafted on a workshop table if you have unlocked the recipe. The other two types of katanas can only be crafted at a smithy or a forge.
After you’ve unlocked the recipe and have the required materials to craft a katana, head over to the blacksmith anvil inside a smithy. If you select the craft option on a blacksmith anvil, it will open a menu, where you will have to choose the katana option. If you open the katana section of the crafting menu, you can select one of the three katanas to craft.
How To Use A Katana In Sengoku Dynasty
Once you have crafted a katana, you will have to assign it to a quick slot to use it. A katana deals a considerable amount of damage to your enemies but is lacking in range compared to other weapons, such as a Yari or a Naginata. Despite its shorter range, a katana can obliterate any foe with quick strikes, making it a favorable weapon in any situation.
