So far, so unsurprising for a live-service game, but what’s interesting about the updates is that many of them have a tag saying “Illuminate.
A lot of fans have taken this as a soft-confirmation that the Illuminate are finally on their way to Helldivers 2, which makes sense considering what’s being shown. That being said, there are a decent amount of Helldivers 2 players who think it could just be an elaborate troll from Arrowhead, who is surely aware that SteamDB updates are easily viewable.
