Before players can start playing the Claw Convoy event in Genshin Impact, they must first begin the Our Animal Friends quest. The mission consists of two tasks:
Give A Suitable Gift – Our Animal Friends Quest
After talking to Lamiya and Zhenchen in the Our Animal Friends quest in Genshin Impact, they’ll ask players to give a suitable gift, which consists of three Local Specialties + three cooked dishes. The gift for this can be anything, as it simply needs to convey the players’ feelings. Travelers are free to use common items, objects they have plenty of, or sentimental pieces close to their hearts.
Claw Convoy Event In Genshin Impact
To play the Claw Convoy event in Genshin Impact, players must first equip the Inscribed Mirror. Next, interact with the Wooden Sign at the designated area. Afterward, use the Inscribed Mirror to take the animals’ point of view. Determine the critter’s location based on their PoV, then catch them with the Greet button.
Each area has three animals to catch, and upon completion grants the following rewards:

- Catch the finch on the land in the middle of the lake, by the tree.
- The squirrel awaits on the southeastern edge of the map, by the waterfall.

The second stage of the Claw Convoy event in Genshin Impact hides the animals in the following spots:
- From inside the gazebo, use the Golden Carp’s Leap to head up the hills. The white crane is on a higher ground.
- Glide down to the lamp by the cliff to greet the squirrel.
- Head up the stones near the tree to catch the finch next to a Hu Tao doll.
