Fans aren’t ready to say goodbye to Bosch: Legacy after season 3 airs in March 2025. The petition to save the show is in full swing, with the intention of persuading Amazon to invest in more Harry Bosch solo stories. Fans are determined to make the most of the ‘final’ 10 episodes of Bosch: Legacy, and there are so many questions that need answering when it returns to screens. Season 2 ended with Honey Chandler launching her campaign to become District Attorney, while Harry Bosch’s involvement in Kurt Dockweiler’s death was hinted at. This raises questions over whether Chandler would prosecute Bosch if she lands her powerful new role.
Chandler and Bosch were sworn enemies at the beginning of the original Bosch series, but the relationship has evolved into a productive working relationship and personal bond. Significantly, they have also become embroiled in crimes together, including the blowing up of the gas pipeline, and their knowledge of Carl Rogers’ death.

Honey ‘Money’ Chandler has gone through a significant change since her first appearance in Bosch season 1 back in 2014. The defense attorney butted heads with Harry Bosch from the very start, but the pair have discovered they share more in common than they originally thought, and are much closer in Bosch: Legacy, due to their joint vendetta against Carl Rogers. Heading into Bosch: Legacy season 3, Chandler is running for DA, and appears to be hell-bent on seeking justice, while Bosch seems to be edging closer to the dark side. This role reversal is fascinating, as it was always Bosch fighting for justice, and Chandler defending the bad guys. If Bosch ordered the hit on Dockweiler, he could potentially end up in Chandler’s crosshairs.
Chandler has never let personal feelings get in the way of the job she has to do, and this could be bad news for Harry Bosch in Bosch: Legacy season 3. If she had knowledge that Bosch plotted with Preston Borders, it could create a dilemma for her. Ironically, it was Chandler who defended Bosch against the allegations that he planted evidence in Borders’ murder case. As much as she hates Dockweiler for what he did to Maddie Bosch, she might object to Harry Bosch getting involved with the murderer in order to exact his revenge.

Bosch Probably Has Too Much Dirt On Chandler For Her To Risk Prosecuting Him If He Did Order The Hit On Dockweiler
Harry Bosch and Honey Chandler became a powerful joint force in Bosch: Legacy, as they sought justice via illegal means after seeing people like Carl Rogers and Kurt Dockweiler getting off lightly for their crimes. However, Chandler looks set to land the top prosecutorial job in Los Angeles, so this could spell the end of her vigilante ways. It’s not clear if Harry Bosch crossed the line to order Dockweiler’s death, but if he did, strictly speaking, Chandler should prosecute him. Bosch knows all too well that justice should be served regardless of the circumstances, from his time as an LAPD detective, so he shouldn’t expect any preferential treatment. Having said that, Bosch has leverage over Chandler due to their joint crimes.
Harry Bosch could destroy Chandler’s career in the blink of an eye, and he would if it meant saving himself. However, these characters have built up a genuinely good partnership and, while it might be a stretch to suggest they are friends, there is a mutual understanding and respect between them. Chandler probably won’t use her new-found powers as district attorney to bring Bosch down, as it doesn’t have any benefit to her. Chandler is still struggling with the after effects of her own shooting ordered by Carl Rogers, who was subsequently acquitted for his crimes. She launched a quest for vengeance against Rogers in Bosch: Legacy season 1 so she would understand if Bosch went after Dockweiler for what he did to Maddie. Also, Chandler cares deeply for Maddie, so she wouldn’t actively choose to take her father away from her. It feels like there’s a lot of story still to get through, with only 10 episodes left.
