It makes sense that we got a scene that fans were bound to love in this episode, since this is the final of Arcane as we know it. There will be similar projects after this, but not a third season of Arcane itself, so at least the finale gave the Caitvi community what it wanted.
As we reported earlier this week, Riot co-founder Marc Merrill has said there are still “lots of other stories to tell” in this universe. We’ll just have to wait and see what this entails, and we’re unlikely to find out anytime soon, given how long we had to wait between seasons of Arcane.
