Kuro Games has announced that their popular fast-paced action RPG, Wuthering Waves is set to launch on PlayStation 5 on January 2, 2025. This release will coincide with the launch of Wuwa Version 2.0.
Wuthering Waves is finally coming to PlayStation 5
Wuthering Waves is a fast-paced open-world action RPG that became massive right after its announcement and was launched on May 22, 2024, on Android, iOS, and PC. Despite facing some backlash from fans due to issues like serious translation errors, the game quickly gained popularity and became a massive hit. It reached 30 million downloads and a whopping $36 million in revenue in the first month.
Many fans were eagerly waiting for a PS5 release, and that wish is finally coming true as Kuro Games is bringing Wuwa to PS5. They announced the launch via a tweet on X (formerly known as Twitter), revealing that the game will be released on PS5 in the first month of 2025, alongside the launch of the much-awaited Wuwa Version 2.0.
Now there are two reasons for you to get a PS5 next year. One is Wuthering Waves, and the other is the long-awaited GTA VI finally launching after years of development, exclusively on PS5. Moreover, fans are very happy with this announcement, now that they will get to enjoy their favorite game on the big screen. Some are also demanding Xbox and PS4 release, and while it may take some time, we can expect Wuwa to eventually release on those platforms too.
