Which Orb Is Easiest In Dragon Quest 3 Remake?
In total there are six orbs for players to get:
- Red
- Blue
- Purple
- Silver
- Green
- Yellow
The first main orb quest line you should look at completing is the Purple Orb, which is started by traveling to Jipang, found along the eastern coast of the biggest and central continent on the map. To get there from Portoga, you’ll need to head out to the open ocean west of the city before turning south and making your way toward the bottom of the map before looping around and heading east.
Along this journey, you’ll also pass the town of Theddon, which houses the Green Orb, which is best to complete after the Purple Orb. Theddon is also the location of the Night Light, which is a useful item to stop by and get along the way. The main story of Jipang will start right when you enter the city and will have a boss fight in the following dungeon tied to the story.

When Should You Get The Red Orb In Dragon Quest 3 Remake?
While the Purple Orb should be the first main orb you chase, the Red Orb can be easily obtained despite the slightly stronger monsters in the nearby area, meaning it is an orb that can be obtained whenever you want. When traveling along the bottom of the map, head to the southeastern corner of the peninsula of the eastern continent to find the Pirates’ Den. Instead of going into the main building of the Pirates’ Den, head to the stone statue of the Pirate Captain along the right side of the building. Interact with the statue to open up the path below, with the Red Orb sitting on the ground with two chests nearby.
