Where To Find Whirlwind Artifact In Stalker 2: Heart Of Chornobyl

As soon as you enter the first base in Stalker 2: Heart Of Chornobyl called Zalissya, you’ll be showered with various side quests that will take you all around the Lesser Zone. These side quests are the bread-and-butter of the game as they give you a ton of rare rewards that you can’t get in the main playthrough.

One of these side quests is given to you by Warlock called Warlock’s Debtor. After finishing this quest, you can start An Errand For Warlock, where you get three choices and you can choose any one.

Which Quest Should You Pick From Warlock

As you return to Warlock after finishing the Warlock’s Debtor quest, you’ll have a new option to ask him for ways of making money. When you do that, he’ll give you three quest options: find an artifact, defeat bandits, or defeat a group of blind dogs. All these quests will have a certain amount mentioned beside them.

This is the amount of coupons you’ll get upon completion, and as you can already tell, this automatically makes the artifact quest the best one as it gives a significantly higher amount. However, this quest is difficult to finish since there’s a lot of RNG involved (more on this below).

The other two quests given by Warlock are fairly simple, but
they involve decently long journeys
.

If you take one of the two quests to defeat enemies, you simply have to follow the location of the blue marker and use your gun on said enemies. However, it’s important to be prepared since both the group of bandits and blind dogs will have quite a lot of numbers. You’ll easily get defeated if you don’t know what you’re getting into.

The best practice is to get close to them and first use a grenade to deal as much AoE damage as possible while they’re still grouped up. After that, you can take out your best gun and shoot them down.

How To Get Whirlwind Artifact

If you’ve chosen the highest-paying option out of the three, you might be in for a bit of a time sink depending on how lucky you are. Whirlwind is essentially an artifact that you can randomly find in various anomalous zones, which are the zones that have a ton of one type of anomaly grouped together.

It has a high chance of spawning if you’re in the zone with the gravitational anomaly, and luckily, there are two great spots for this near Zalissya. You can find one named Deaf Meadows to the east and one named Ribs to the south. You can go through either of these locations and get the artifact inside, hoping that it’ll be the one you need.

The artifacts in a certain anomalous zone do reset after a bit of time. You can also cheat the system by
having a save and repeatedly redoing it
until you get the artifact.

However, if you’re planning to do this, your save needs to be a
bit far away from the zone itself
, and you have to run all the way again and again.
