One of the biggest parts of the latest update is a whole new section for cosmetics, but how to get Kicks in Fortnite might not be immediately clear. It’s been a while since we got something that affects your appearance in every mode. Starting with this patch though, a lot of skins can now wear kicks in the game.
While not everyone, a good number can slip on different pairs of shoes. Usually, with new cosmetics, we have something to fill the gap. Free rewards from the Battle Pass, cosmetic giveaways, and generally items that anyone can use. Fortnite Kicks haven’t launched with a free Fortnite item though. Plus, they’re not exactly common in item shop bundles just yet. How to get Jordans in Fortnite or any type of Kicks might be a mystery if you’re more of a free player. How to get Kicks in Fortnite
If you’re wondering how to make use of the new cosmetics, you can’t until you have an item to use. Essentially, you need a pair of kicks. Without anything to put in that locker slot, you’ll just see your skin’s default footwear. In some cases, that’s something that fits a lot better with the skin, and in others, it can be a bit annoying. seeing half the lobby in their shark slippers while you’re barefooted!
If you want to know how to get Kicks in Fortnite, you can only apply them once you’ve purchased some. There’s a pair included in the current Fortnite Remix Battle Pass. However, others are coming through the Item Shop too.
Most players will have to wait until future seasons to get a second pair unless they fancy paying the 500 V-Buck price for a pair of digital shoes. The pair included in the Pass is a nice taste for players though and we can probably expect more Kicks in the future. Between these and the new instruments, there are more and more rewards to fill up those spaces in the pass in Chapter 6.

I you’re not happy with the Battle Pass pair or just want an alternative set of footwear, what can you go with? To get Jordans in Fortnite or other shoes, you’ll need to head into the item store. Then, select the shoes you want to buy and proceed through, just like buying any Fortnite skin or item! Then just equip them in the Locker.
