How To Rescue Acomitl (Molting Season Side Quest)

As Natlan is a nation of warriors, they have multiple challenges randomly scattered across the land. These Warrior Challenges in Genshin Impact give Travelers a chance to test out their skills in their Saurian form and see how many chests they can obtain from successfully completing them.

There are a total of three Warriors Challenges in the Flower-Feather Clan, but one of them cannot be found because the NPC who looks over it is missing. His name is Acomitl, and he’s gotten into a bit of a mess. Travelers can refer to this guide to see how to rescue him and complete his Warrior Challenge effectively.

Where To Find A Trapped Acomitl In Genshin Impact

Head to the teleportation waypoint indicated in the image above and glide across the area in front of you. You’ll see a deck secured to the side of a cliff with some torches nailed to the wall. There will be a prompt that says “Knock on Door,” and clicking it will introduce you to Acomitl. He’s less than pleased to be in his situation, so the only thing you can do is figure out a way to rescue him.

How To Rescue Acomitl In Genshin Impact

Indwell the Iktomisaurus (it’s near the cooking dish), and use its skill to grab the wind current graffiti in the wall. Glide up the cliff, and you’ll see a camp in front of you. A cutscene will play, and you’ll come to find out that Acomitl has been captured by Saurian traffickers. You’ll need to engage in a fight with them, win, and then speak to Acomitl near the cage.

Unfortunately, only the Saurians know of another way into the cage, so go indwell the Qucusaurus nearby and speak to the Melancholic Qucusaurus in front of you. That’s the only Saurian that knows another way into the cave.

Next, fly off the ledge and go back down to the deck secured on the edge of the cliff. There’s a sort of password required to unlock the door, and it goes as follows:

Booong!

Booong, booong, booong!

Booong, booong!

Successfully inputting it will automatically open the door, and Acomitl will then speak to you. You’ll then get some backstory to his situation and then have to take part in his Warrior Challenge. The challenge is pretty easy, and you’ll need to indwell a Qucusaurus to complete it.
