How to find Emil’s Shop in Stellar Blade

How to find Emil's Shop in Stellar Blade

With the new DLC for Stellar Blade, players can collect a new currency from around the game world and trade it for cosmetic items from Nier Automata. Fittingly, all of these cosmetics are sold by recurring Nier character Emil, who is once again driving around at high speed and must be tracked down and stopped before he can be spoken with.

Actually locating Emil can be a bit tricky, since he isn’t guaranteed to appear at the few locations where he can be found. To track him down in Stellar Blade, you’ll need to head over to a few different spots in the Wasteland and the Great Desert. It’s easiest to find him in the Wasteland in my experience, but more on that below.

Stellar Blade’s refreshing approach to DLC deserves to be an inspiration to future developers when it comes to releasing DLC for their own games.

Stellar Blade – Emil Location

Stellar Blade_Emil Location_Map

Emil will spawn driving around in various locations in both the Wasteland and the Great Desert. It’s relatively easy to run into him by accident if you’re spending a lot of time in either of those areas, but a few spots tend to be more reliable than others. Emil is easiest to find by fast traveling to the Junkyard Supply Camp in the Wasteland. Equip Stinger Missiles if you have them and head over in the direction of the sunken area and look southeast. If Emil has spawned, he should show up driving toward you and then veer to your left, heading vaguely north.

To get Emil to stop so you can buy things from him, you’ll need to hit him with your gun. The stinger missiles can lock onto him, making this much easier. With good aim, you can stop him with any of your ranged options. If you successfully hit him, he’ll flip over and come to a stop, allowing you to head over and interact with him.

Emil’s Shop

In Emil’s Shop, you can spend any Stellar Tears you’ve collected to purchase cosmetics from Nier Automata. Here’s a full list of everything he has available, but do note that he’ll stop appearing permanently once you’ve purchased everything.
