Sarada Uchiha is one of the main characters in the Boruto series, although her treatment within the series itself so far might indicate otherwise. However, when it comes to individuals like Jura, or, at the same time, keeping up with Boruto, the Mangekyo Sharingan is certainly not enough. She needs more power and this can only come in the form of the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. As fans know, the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan improves one’s control over this eye’s powers greatly. It improves control over one’s chakra, and helps the user to read movements even more precisely and carefully. It improves upon their general level of skill, and more than that, it does not cause much strain on the user’s eyes, which is quite common with the Mangekyo Sharingan.

To gain the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, it said that the eyes of a close relative are needed. In the case of Madara Uchiha, fans know that he gained the eyes of his brother, Izuna. Sasuke also took the eyes of his brother, Itachi, to gain access to the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. Unfortunately for Sarada, there is no one to take the eyes of. Sasuke can only give her one eye, and even that is only possible in case he dies, because he certainly needs his own eye otherwise. Sarada does not have any other siblings either, which means for her to achieve this power is quite difficult.

However, it is possible for her to gain this eye in another way. For one, it can be said that it’s possible that Sarada will obtain this eye through someone else, such as Shin Uchiha. Although it is stated in the series that a blood connection to someone is required for one to obtain the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, it May not be an absolute necessity. In that case, getting a Sharingan from Shin should be enough for her to gain this power. But, then, this whole idea seems rather underwhelming.

Sarada gaining the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan after defeating someone would be much better, and this is where Hidari comes in. As fans know, he has the same DNA makeup as Sasuke. Although he does not have the Sharingan, he’s clearly aware of its existence and could try to mold it in some way or form, especially after his rebirth following his near-death event in the battle against Boruto and Kawaki. If Sarada defeats Hidari in battle, then she can take his eyes from him, and, in a way, this would become an earned power-up for her.

But, even more than that, another possibility exists that suggests Sarada can potentially access the powers of Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan without even gaining this eye. This would be made possible by her awakening the Bykaugou, just like Sakura, and forcing her body to heal any damage that she suffers. This would mean she wouldn’t suffer any drawbacks of the Mangekyo Sharingan and would strengthen herself greatly in battle.
