I bet they play out multiple war campaigns.

A great way to spice up the game in 5 years would be to do a year of crossover content. Since this latest game took 7-8 years to develop, and it’s only AA, I’d bet a AAA sequel leaves plenty of time for them to experiment with relatable licenses to keep us interested while they chip away at something long-term.
