Genshin Impact Leaks Full Track List for New Rhythm Game Mode

Key Takeaways

  • Genshin Impact is adding a permanent rhythm event in Version 5.3 with a total of 56 tracks.
  • The tracks appear to be pulled from the first five regions of Genshin Impact, presumably leaving Natlan for a future update.
  • Version 5.3 is expected to launch on January 1, 2025.

Genshin Impact is adding a permanent rhythm event in Version 5.3, and thanks to a recent leak, players can see the full track list available at launch. At its core, Genshin Impact is an open world adventure, where players can pull for their favorite characters and use them to build powerful teams. However, the developers have never shied away from offering alternative game modes that aren’t focused on combat, the most notable examples being Genius Invokation TCG and the Serenitea Pot.

While the Rhythm event has had many incarnations throughout Genshin Impact‘s history (recently returning in Version 4.6), it became popular enough for the developers to consider adding a permanent game mode. Among other quality-of-life features coming to Genshin Impact in Version 5.3, the permanent Rhythm event will also be added, complete with an accompanying store, as well as a way for players to share their own tracks.

Current footage from the beta implies that the tracks can be played at any time, and due to the permanency of the new Rhythm event, players won’t need to worry about the game mode disappearing after a week or two. While it remains to be seen if the developers will continue to support the new game mode in a similar vein to Genius Invokation TCG in Genshin Impact, the initial track list will no doubt keep players busy for a while.

It also remains to be seen what this means for future Genshin Impact Flagship Events that are centered around Rhythm gameplay, as the Repertoire of Myriad Melodies could make them all redundant. That being said, Genius Invokation TCG had its own dedicated event in Version 3.7, which means that the developers may still find a way to feature Rhythm events on top of the Repertoire. At the very least, Genshin Impact players should expect to see Natlan tracks added to the Repertoire of Myriad Melodies once more characters from the region join the main cast. Version 5.3 is expected to launch on January 1, 2025.
