Fortnite Remix End Schedule: What Can Players Expect?

Fortnite Remix will come to an end at the end of this month. When that happens, it will give way to Chapter 6, another evolution for the game. There will presumably be some substantial changes, which means the lead-up to Chapter 6 will be eventful.

You may recall the end of OG last year, which held a live event that transitioned the game into Chapter 5. Something similar is to be expected this time, and the official schedule has been revealed early.

Fortnite Remix End Schedule Revealed

November 30 marks the last day of Fortnite Remix. That will be the last time, potentially ever, that you can experience the Chapter 2 island, weapons, and more. According to ShiinaBR, on that day at 2:00 pm EST, all play will temporarily cease with a live event. It’s likely that game modes will be suspended 30 minutes prior, but that’s when the event will begin. It is unclear how long the live event will last, but they’re generally not terribly lengthy.

Later that day, there will be an event rerun for those who missed it the first time. As of now, the time has not been specified. However, it will be sometime between roughly 3:00 pm EST and 10:00 pm EST. This is because downtime begins at that time, meaning all play in all game modes will be suspended. Juice WRLD is expected to be involved with a brand-new song.

Currently, Epic Games has not revealed the downtime schedule for Chapter 6. However, it is a substantial update, so expect it to take a lot of time. The transition from OG (which is coming back with its own battle pass soon) to Chapter 5 in Fortnite took about 11 hours. While the game isn’t adding a ton of new modes and revamping the graphics and some of the mechanics, this update will presumably take several hours once again.

Chapter 6 will be a continuation of Chapter 5, whereas Chapter 5 was a major shift from Chapter 4. Nevertheless, don’t expect to be able to play until sometime early on December 1.
