There’s a new boss on the map, Kit in Fortnite Remix! The much-loved character is returning and he’s brought back two of the best Fortnite weapons with him. If you want to pick them and get one of the most fun mythics Fortnite’s ever made, you’ll need to head to his spot on the map and take him out.
The Bosses and NPCs are working a bit differently in Fortnite this season. They’re still tough fights, where you’ll need to best a boss, henchmen, and other players camping to jump in at the last second. Take Kit out though and you’ll get two amazing weapons and access to a new vault. He’s one of the new features in this pass, along with Juice WRLD getting added. This is how you can do that and what he drops:
Where is Kit in Fortnite Remix?
In the latest Fortnite update we’ve seen two new expansions added. Juice WRLD is here, as is Kit. Bringing in some content from later Chapter 2 seasons, Kit has taken his place at Catty Corner. It’s a marked POI on the map, so simple to find.
This spot has been suspiciously quiet all season. Empty. With a sealed vault, but no way to access it. However, that’s just changed with this patch. What exactly will Kit drop when you take him down in Fortnite Remix?
What Does He Drop?
Taking out a boss grants access to a vault with their keycard, but the main appeal is their Mythic weapons. This season we’ve seen most of the Chapter 2 Mythics receive twists, or remixes. However, for Kit’s Mythic weapons we’re back to basics.
Take out Kit, and you’ll get a Shockwave Launcher and a Mythic Charge Shotgun. The launcher is a particularly fun item, but the Charge Shotgun could be very useful too. While a bit fiddly, it’s grown to be pretty popular. When fully charged it does amazing damage. The Shockwave Launcher is pretty fun too. Although, Kit firing them off at random might be frustrating.
How to Defeat Kit in Fortnite Remix?
If you want to get your hands on these items, you’ll need to head for Catty Corner when you drop into Fortnite. While new boss POIs are often hot drops, there’s plenty of competition this season with items like Eminem’s Minigun. Once landed, you’ll probably still have to tackle a few opposing teams after the weapons too.
Aer that, you’ll need to take out Kit himself. He’s usually walking around near the gas station. It’s a simple fight. Bosses this season have only a single bar of health, so it shouldn’t be the most gruelling challenge to take him out.
