After unlocking the Royal Net and removing Inkies to explore more of The Bind with Merida, you’ll likely spot a few owls flying around among all the snippets. However, when it comes to feeding owls in Disney Dreamlight Valley, they like specific things and won’t eat fish or fruit. Fortunately, owls are friendly and aren’t shy to approach. To feed an owl, you can approach one as usual when feeding critters in Disney Dreamlight Valley. You can feed an owl any grain, such as Wheat and Rice. However, an owl’s favorite food in Disney Dreamlight Valley is Barley.
If you feed an owl its favorite food, Barley, on three occasions, you get 100 Story Magic for completing the Feed the Owls their Favorite Food Story Magic Duty. There are also more owl-feeding duties to net you more Story Magic, such as the Feed an Owl duty for 200 Story Magic.
How to Get Barley In Disney Dreamlight Valley
To get Barley in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you can purchase Barley Seeds from Goofy’s Stall in The Bind for 15 Gold Star Coins each. You’ll need to get Scrooge McDuck to restore it first via the stall repair sign, which doesn’t cost anything. However, to get Barley Seeds to appear, you must upgrade the stall at least once, with the first upgrade costing 3,000 Gold Star Coins and the second upgrade costing 6,000 Gold Star Coins. You can then plant the Barley Seeds anywhere in The Bind, which grows in approximately 15 minutes.
