Best Buy’s Black Friday event is officially here, and it’s slashing prices on dozens of digital Switch games. Many of these are also on sale on the official Nintendo eShop, but buying from Best Buy is the better option as you’ll get the full Gold Points for your purchase, whereas the eShop gives you an amount based on the discounted price. That means Best Buy is the best place to shop for digital Switch games this Black Friday, and there are some great options to choose from.
Arguably the best game on sale is The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. It was Nintendo’s first $70 game when it was released in 2023, but right now you can pick it up for just $50. You’ll find hours of fun in its expansive open world, and the brilliant Ultrahand mechanic makes it easy to craft unique gadgets to help you zoom across its landscape or battle its most challenging enemies. At just $50, we can’t recommend it enough.
You won’t find the newly released Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake on sale, but two other Dragon Quest games are down to some of their best prices of the year. Dragon Quest 11 S: Echoes of an Elusive Age is now $35 (was $50), offering a traditional console RPG experience with a surprisingly moving story and memorable cast, and it’s a great value at this discounted price. For something a bit different, you’ll find Dragon Quest Builders 2 for $35 (was $50).
Other notable deals include Doom Eternal Deluxe Editiion for $17.50 (was $70), Persona 5 Royal for $15 (was $60), and Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble for $25 (was $70). Plenty of other great digital Switch games from beloved series like Super Mario, Sonic the Hedgehog, Xenoblade Chronicles, and more are on sale for Black Friday, and you’ll find the best deals below.
