PlayStation 5 Slim 30th Anniversary Limited Edition consoles will be restocked this week through Sony’s PlayStation Direct online store. The initial batch of PS5 Slim and PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary Edition consoles quickly sold out after pre-orders went live on September 26.
This past September, Sony unveiled its PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection, which includes PS5 console bundles, DualSense controllers, PlayStation Portal units, and other accessories themed after the original PlayStation from 1994. Although the PS5 Pro reveal drew some skepticism from gamers that same month, the specially themed PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary Limited Edition won some longtime fans over when pre-orders opened on the PlayStation Direct store. The new PS5 Slim and PS5 Pro consoles quickly ran out of stock, and several pre-ordered units were listed with extreme price hikes by scalpers. However, scalping efforts seemingly backfired due to limited demand, and prices began to tumble down toward the list price. Those prices may continue to normalize with more PS5 Slim 30th Anniversary Edition stock arriving soon.

Sony will be restocking PS5 Slim 30th Anniversary Limited Edition consoles on Thursday, November 21 at 9:00 a.m. PT, according to the console’s PlayStation Direct store page. Due to high demand, customers will be limited to one console per order, and consoles are expected to sell out very quickly that morning. The price is still set for $499.99, and the console is bundled with a DualSense 30th Anniversary Limited Edition controller, a limited-edition console cover for the disc drive, a USB cable with original PlayStation-style housing, and several PlayStation-themed accessories like stickers and a poster. It’s worth noting that the disc drive must be purchased separately, despite the disc drive cover being included with the console bundle.
Sony to Restock PS5 Slim 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Consoles on November 21
- PS5 Slim 30th Anniversary Limited Edition bundles will still be $499.99
- DualSense Edge Wireless Controller 30th Anniversary Limited Edition will also be restocked for $219.99.
Moreover, the DualSense Edge Wireless Controller 30th Anniversary Limited Edition will receive a restock at the same date and time on the PlayStation Direct store. The controller costs $219.99, which is $20 more than the original white DualSense Edge controller. It includes the same accessories as the regular DualSense Edge, except the included carrying case is gray to match the 30th Anniversary Collection’s color scheme. Like the PS5 Slim console, customers may only purchase one DualSense Edge Wireless Controller 30th Anniversary Limited Edition per order.
The PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary Limited Edition bundle does not appear to be getting a restock in the PlayStation Direct store, however. Unlike the PS5 Slim variant, a restock notice was not given for the new PS5 Pro console’s launch on November 21, which means that it will likely continue to be unavailable.
