The Royal Net is a royal tool that was introduced thanks to the Storybook Vale expansion pass in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Dreamers will use it in the available biomes of the Vale to catch creatures called Snippets.
It’s very easy to obtain the Royal Net as you simply need to complete the first quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley upon arriving at the Storybook Vale. Although it may sound easy, you have to solve a small puzzle before acquiring the Royal Net.

How To Unlock The Royal Net In Disney Dreamlight Valley
After accessing the Storybook Vale from the Dreamlight Castle in The Plaza, players will automatically trigger the Welcome to the Storybook Vale quest after stumbling on Merida stuck in a square of inkies. Inkies are blobs of ink that are similar to the Night Thorn in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Remove the ones surrounding Merida and follow her to meet The Lorekeeper. The latter will send Dreamers to find the Royal Net as it’s hidden somewhere in The Library of Lore. But first, head to one of the lower corners of the library to find a bag. Open it to take the dishes as well as the potion, and use it to upgrade the Royal Pickaxe.
Use the Pickaxe on the rocks near the bag to clear a path and use the lever twice to rotate the stone slab on the ground. Next, head to the other lever and use it three times to complete the picture, which shows a picture of Princess Aurora, aka Sleeping Beauty.
How To Use The Royal Net In Disney Dreamlight Valley
The Royal Net is used to catch Snippets and return them to The Lorekeeper, so she gains back her strength. There are two main moves for the royal tool in Disney Dreamlight Valley; one is used to catch Snippets in front of you in a vertical movement, and the second is when you hold the button and charge the Royal Net to go in a circular motion, capturing nearby Snippets that are flying a bit too high.
Dreamers will also encounter gold wheels that are usually used to open doors. Keep in mind that the vertical one requires the vertical movement while the flat wheel requires the spin movement. Each biome has its own type of Snippet with different movement sets. For example, while The Bind’s Snippets fly all over the place, the Everafter’s Snippets are frogs that like to jump around. The Lorekeeper has a bunch of different puzzles that reward valuable items and clothes, so collect the requested number and type of Snippets to unlock them.
