Fortnite Remix has had a lot of fun items, but its glitches have been pretty notable too. This season has been one of our buggiest, from moon-jumping cars to unlimited grapplers that can’t fire. A new glitch is particularly intrusive though. A new Fortnite OP Remix Mythic can be found just lying around.
The latest Fortnite update has brought in Juice WRLD, but also re-activated Catty Corner. Any older Fortnite players remember a particularly fun Mythic you used to acquire here, the Shockwave Launcher. A fantastic item, largely limited by the rarity of its ammo. However, that downside has been completely neutralized by the current update. Leaving this OP Remix Mythic accessible to pretty much everyone. A never-ending Shockwave Launcher, that players can grab from the floor, and use to throw players all over the map.

Shockwave Launcher Broken – OP Remix Mythic in Floor Loot
Out of three new updates, we once again have a Fortnite patch that’s introduced a meta-breaking bug to the game. The Shockwave Launcher has been brought back as a new Mythic. Usually, this was an item with a clear downside.
It can fire off shockwaves as grenades, which send enemies flying. It cancels fall damage, but you can throw opponents all over the place. It’s particularly fun in later circles, where the build breaking movement lets you keep an enemy obnoxiously pined in the storm. The main negative was always ammo, since rockets were harder to come by. As a Mythic, it also took quite a lot of work to get and it was limited to one on the map. Unless you go to a specific landing spot, it is inaccessible.
That’s not the case with this new OP Remix Mythic. It’s everywhere. A bug has it showing up as floor loot, a redditor has even reported finding decoy grenades this way too. On top of that, this version has unlimited ammo for some reason. The Shockwave Launcher is really overpowered compared to its previous version, much more common, and the game is lacking the counters that it normally has.
Essentially, until Epic patches it, expect Battle Royale to turn into a game of pinball. Players sending each other launching around rather than actually engaging. We can expect to see some crazy plays in the final circle, with multiple players able to carry unlimited shockwave launchers.
