Star Rail’s Leaked ‘Mimi’ Summon Explained

Star Rail's Leaked 'Mimi' Summon Explained

Honkai: Star Rail is always coming up with new ways to make the gameplay more exciting. With the next major story arc coming in January, there are already rumors of various mechanics that might be coming to Honkai: Star Rail, such as the leaked servant mechanic.

Servants are reportedly summons that Honkai: Star Rail players can independently control on the battlefield for a number of turns, and it’s allegedly the unique ability of characters following the Path of Remembrance. With rumors that the Trailblazer might adopt Remembrance as their next form in Amphoreus, their servant is allegedly called “Mimi.”

Honkai: Star Rail 2.7 is one of the game’s biggest patches, not just because of the Sunday and Fugue release, but also because of its rumored rewards.

Who is Mimi, the Rumored Trailblazer Summon?

There’s been some speculation about the Trailblazer’s rumored servant, with a number of fans thinking that it might be a Lordly Trashcan because of their hilarious relationship with trash cans. They also speculate that the servant mechanic could be similar to the “Friendship Is Magic” limited-time event, where Lordly Trashcans with different skills offered their assistance.

However, Honkai: Star Rail leaker Shiroha didn’t specify the form that rumored servant Mimi would take. They reported that one of Mimi’s skills called “Defeat the Villains” lets them deal four instances of Ice damage to a random enemy and one instance to all enemies. Meanwhile, “Mimi’s Blessing,” which could be their Ultimate, gives them the ability to “bless” a single ally to grant them additional True Damage that lasts for three turns. HoYoverse hasn’t confirmed Mimi’s kit, so the abilities could still change in the coming months.

  • Defeat the Villains: When “Mimi” acts, it deals four instances of Ice DMG to a random single enemy and one instance of Ice DMG to all enemies.
  • Mimi’s Blessing: When “Mimi’s” energy reaches 100%, they act immediately and allow an allied single target to act immediately as well. Additionally, the “blessed” target deals bonus True DMG equal to XX% of the original damage when attacking enemies, lasting for three turns.

Based on the leaked information, it seems like Mimi could be both a damage dealer and a support unit. It’s possible that the rumored Remembrance Trailblazer could have the same functions for their own kit. This could also be an indication that the Path of Remembrance is a combination of DPS and support roles, which is a first for Honkai: Star Rail in terms of specific Path traits. It’s important to note though that this isn’t the first time that a support character had strong DPS abilities because Honkai: Star Rail‘s healer Gallagher is also a viable damage dealer.

How Rumored Servants Like Mimi Could Shift Honkai: Star Rail’s Meta in a Huge Way

The addition of the new Path of Remembrance poses a number of questions about Honkai: Star Rail‘s gameplay and meta from Version 3.0 and beyond. If it’s true that Remembrance will introduce a summon mechanic, this could mean that players will have to build their teams around certain servants in the future, especially if the main character is positioned as a main DPS unit. Even though it’s said that servants might be active for only a number of turns, their presence on the battlefield could still affect the order of character actions, so players will have to plan the servants’ actions carefully.

Fortunately, Honkai: Star Rail fans won’t have to wait that long to try the Path of Remembrance because Aglaea, a 5-star Lightning-type unit, is already coming out in Version 3.0 in January. She’s the first Remembrance character that’s coming out in the new Honkai: Star Rail arc taking place in Amphoreus, so it will be interesting how avid players will build teams around her.
